Credit Services Organizations

Oregon Revised Statutes 646A.250 to 646A.270

Companies that provide credit repair services, including those which offer to improve a person's credit must be registered. Registrants are required to have a surety bond or irrevocable letter of credit. A contract agreement must be provided to the customer that includes a three-day right of cancellation.

As of March 31, 2009, 23 companies were registered in Oregon.
